This college is established in 2001. Providing co-education to this city. DIET is situated at Karnal which is one of the oldest historical towns and is a District Headquarter, which is well connected by rail and road and situated midway between Delhi & Chandigarh approximately 125km from both ends and quite adjacent to National Highway No.1

It is the only college in karnal which has a little bit reputation in the karnal city as well as near by areas.Many Students from the villages have studying their as a student.They have made environment worst. Moreover,It has a good staff of faculties and teachers but the problem here is with the environment that is not suitable for studies.instead of this,this college does not have consistency level of his placement.
