Course Details
Course name- Pharm D. Course duration- 6 years. Eligibility- (i) 10+2 pass with Physics and Chemistry as a compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects- Mathematics or Biology with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate for optional subjects. (ii) Minimum 50% marks in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy act. (iii) Any other qualification approved by Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination. In this course students get intensive training in pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy services. This course is approved by Pharmacy Council of India and affiliated to University of Calicut/ Kerala University of Health Science. Job opportunities- After completing this course students can work in Hospital pharmacy/ Industrial pharmacy/ Community pharmacy/ Geriatric pharmacy/ Retail pharmacy/ Radio pharmacy/ Drug control administration/ Pharmaceutical marketing/ Pharmacoeconomics etc.
