Course Details
The course syllabus for this course, to be covered in 4 semesters, is as per the syllabus prescribed by the Kumaun University. The course comprises of three main groups that is Ancient Indian History, Archaeology, and Medieval & Modern Indian History. The students have to choose one of these groups as per their choice. Two common subjects that is World History and Indian National Movement will be compulsory for all the students whichever group they belong to.

Eligibility Criteria for M.A, History Admissions
The candidates desirous of taking admission in this course should have a B.A. degree with at least 40% marks and should have preferably History in their UG course as one of the subjects.
