Course Details
The two-year full-time M.P.T. course includes both theory and practicals. The curriculum covers the entire gamut related to the field of physiotherapy, including Biomechanics, Physiology, Manual therapy, Nutrition, etc.
Like in any other college offering this course, students at A.D.N. Medical College and Paramedical Science, Nagpur will initially learn the principles of practice and research methodology in Part-I. In Part-II, students will be up to date on recent advances and take up an Elective (Specialty), such as Orthopaedics, Neurology, etc. Case presentations and clinical performance are important aspects of internal assessment. Periodic tests may also be scheduled from time to time. Passing in the theoretical and practical sections individually is mandatory.
