Course Details
The GDBA+BBA is a twin certification undergraduate program from AGBS Kochi that gets you a GDBA certificate as well as a BBA certification from Amity University. The program is of 3-years duration in which you will learn the fundamentals of business administration, and get a basic understanding of management principles. Subjects like accounting, financial management, marketing, operations management, human resource management and organization behaviour will be taught in these 3 years. You will get to understand how businesses work and the role of managers in any business establishment. There will be also topics on business etiquette, communication skills, decision making, leadership and entrepreneurship. Being a business administration program, it involves attending seminars, workshops, participating in projects, making case presentations and visit industries. After successful completion of this course, most take up a masters program in business administration.
Eligibility Criteria for B.B.A. Admissions
For admission to this UG program, you need to have at least 50% marks in your 10+2, but subjects such as physical education, fine arts and performing arts do not get counted for calculating the aggregate percentage.
How to Apply for B.B.A. in Amity Global Business School
Selection to this BBA program is through a 3-tier process, where you need to qualify a written test, an English essay test and finally an interview. Candidates scoring more than 80% marks in their 10+2 can directly sit for the interview, without having to write the other two tests. Successful candidates need to submit a one-time refundable academic security fee of Rs 15,000/- at the time of admission. Scholarships are available to deserving students. Based on your academic marks in 10+2, students from ICSE and CBSE board are awarded 50 and even 100% scholarships. For state board students, the scholarship amount is 20%.
