Course Details
LL.B. or Legum Baccalaureus is basically a graduation degree in the field of law. During this 3 year-long course, the students learn about criminal and labour law, professional ethics, legal aids, the law of contract, code of criminal procedure, interpretation of statutes, arbitration, conciliation & alternative, and many more such topics. After completion of LL.B one may go for LL.M. for a better career.
Eligibility Criteria for LLB General Admissions
Students who have successfully completed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board are eligible for this course. Please note that the candidates who have passed 12th, graduation or postgraduation through correspondence or from an open university are not eligible for the course. The minimum required marks in the qualifying exam is 45% for the students belonging to the general category whereas it is 42% and 40% for OBC and SC/ST category students respectively.
How to Apply for LLB General in Government Law College
Admissions are offered on the basis of the applicant's performance in the entrance examination conducted by the Government of Kerala. After the entrance exam, the students get a call for centralized counseling conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala and then the final admissions are offered.
