Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering is a four years full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and approved by AICTE.
Course Details
The College has started a new course in Computer Science Engineering to meet employer demands for engineers that will develop the future economy through the use of latest technologies. This new course has been developed in conjunction with industrial employers, to meet the demand for engineering graduates with strong skills in software and hardware engineering, along with mathematical analysis ability.
At the end of the first year, this new programme in Computer Science Engineering will allow the students to have a deep understanding of subjects like Intelligent Systems, Digital Image Processing, Distributed Operating System, Neural Networks, Web Engineering, Human Computer Interaction and Multimedia Technologies.
Graduates of this degree program will play key roles in the research, design, development, testing and installation of future systems. They will frequently work in teams to tackle complex and challenging problems and may also pursue higher degrees by research (MEng, Ph.D., etc).
Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering Admissions
For admission to first year of B.Tech. candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in each compulsory subjects and one optional subject as given in clause 3.1 (i) and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects. A candidate Passed Diploma (Engineering & Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) is also eligible for B Tech.
