Course Details

This is a full-time B.Com course of 3-year duration. The only difference from any other regular course is that the classes are held during the evening hours. The course is conducted in six semesters during which, the students will learn various concepts related to the commerce and the accounting field. The students will learn about the fundamentals of accounting, finance, business administration, and human resource management. They will learn about taxation laws, business laws and theories related to international business. The students get to identify and formulate the socio-economic problems and learn applications of accounting and commerce principles.

Students are also apprised of the usage of various accounting tools, techniques, and software. They also learn about professional ethics and responsibilities during accounting and commerce practices. Apart from all these, the students gain communication skills for effective communication with society at large and the accounting and IT community in particular.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com Admissions

Those who have passed their 10+2 from the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination from any other board or university, including, foreign can apply for the above course. Should have done 10+2 in the commerce or the science stream.

How to Apply for B.Com in Ladhidevi Ramdhar Maheshwari Night College of Commerce

Candidates to note that they need to first fill out the Pre-enrollment form on the University of Mumbai website. Having registered there, they need to save the form and then visit the official website of Ladhidevi Ramdhar Maheshwari Night College and apply online. The Pre-enrollment form is to be uploaded while submitting the college online admission form. While filling out the admission form a unique PIN is generated. The PIN is to be used in case the candidate is not able to fill out the form in one attempt and has to come back later to submit the remaining information.

The applicants should be in possession of their mark sheets for classes 10 and 12 and their school leaving certificates. For boards other than Maharashtra, the applicants should have a migration certificate and transfer certificate as well.

International candidates are additionally required to first obtain an eligibility letter from the University of Mumbai, besides having a valid passport and visa, copies of which are to be submitted at the time of admission.
