Course introduction
M.Phil is a research based course- Masters of Philosophy and M.Phil in Philosophy is 2 years long programme which deal with all mind related science and behavior. This study helps our society in recognizing and analyzing different people. This course also includes some principles to study and understand and some scientific experiments.
Further study options
An option for further studies after pursuing M.Phil is a PhD that is Doctorate of Philosophy in Psychology. There is no age limit for this course and a candidate can pursue this course at any stage of his/her life. Other option may include some short term courses which are related to or required to have a good job in the field of psychology.
Duration
The duration for this course is 2 years which includes a theoretical and an experimental sessions equally. Many institutes have these 2 years divided into 4 semesters.
Admission Procedure
The admission usually does not include any thing complex. Candidates just need to approach the administration department of the institutes and check their eligibility. If they are eligible they just need to submit the filled form before due date.
Some institutes may conduct an entrance test for admissions and the final selection for admission will be based on the performance in examination.

Candidates who have done their masters degree that is MA in Psychology from some recognized institute are eligible for this course. The minimum passing marks may vary from institute to institute and candidates need to check the same at the time of filling admission form.
