It is a 3 years course applicable to Indian citizens who are Doctors affiliated under Medical Council of India. After passing this course, the candidates can join a government hospital or private hospital or nursing homes. Their main motto should be to deal with obstetrics patients or patients having gynecological problems. Along with this, patients with problems in urinary tracts will also fall under this field. The surgery domain will consist of urinary, urethral tracts, organs of the pelvis, ovary, and uterus. The salary of nursing homes is much higher in comparison to government hospitals. After an experience of around 10-15 years, candidates might open up their own chamber or medical clinic. But the main problem here is that they would require funding for the costly apparatus for diagnosis of the patients. For this, either they can apply for government grants or they can apply for scholarships in abroad. That way they will gain the money to start their own, self-sufficient, well equipped chamber for patients.
