Course Overview
The Power sector of India has reached a transitional phase and continuously advancing itself in terms of technology. Many new projects related to Ultra Mega Thermal are in plan for both private as well public sectors and require experts from this field. It includes advance technologies like latest technology of Control & Instrumentation systems, Electrical, Super Critical Technology, etc.
Students study about all the basic theoretical part of Power Generation and gain advance knowledge about Operation & Maintenance of the Thermal power plants. The course makes them capable for operating and maintaining Power plants of high capacity successfully.
The course also allows the candidates to attend on -job practice sessions to be conducted in power plants stations and substations.
Eligibility
Candidates from engineering background are eligible for this course. 3 years Diploma holders, B.E., B.Tech. Degree holders with specialization in instrumentation, physics, etc are eligible for this course.
