< li>Firstly, there is a 3 year degree course in civil services. This is the common and well known course in civil services.

• There are 4 year bachelor's degree programs in civil services provided by some institutes. They call it to be "double graduation". In this case, you can have two major subjects in this course instead of one. One will definitely be civil services. The other one could be either history or political science. If you want to continue higher studies after this, you must study M.A. in civil services after this 4 year course.


• The next option is a 5 year integrated course. This course combines B.A. and M.A. courses together. That means once you get admitted in graduation, you will automatically be eligible for MA in civil services.

Eligibility criteria

1. The basic eligibility criteria is that, you must pass 10+2 or your higher secondary course first.


2. There is no restriction on which stream you should belong to or what should be your basic higher secondary aggregate score. But some of the institutes prefer selecting candidates through an entrance examination. If you pass in this entrance examination to get selected in this course.

Higher Studies

If you have opted either for a 3 year graduation or a 4 year double graduation course in civil services, then you must complete your master degree afterwards. You can either study M.A. in civil services or MBA in HR management. Either of these two genres will suit you the best.
There are few other streams in MBA that might help you crack a vacancy in any sales and marketing hub. These streams are Marketing management, Retail management, Supply Chain management and Production management.

Job scenario

1. Let us see the working positions available. If you pass MBA after this course, then you can join any company as their HR or marketing and sales executive. Later on with time and your experience, your could get promoted to managerial positions.


2. After you pass this course, you can also sit for the union public service commission examination. If you clear this examination, you can opt for government jobs with respect to the number of vacant posts.
