A candidate is eligible for admission to this course is completing 10+2 Science and or all India JEE Exam.
Admission criteria
Admission to this course is based on merit of 10+2 Science/ JEE/ Institute level Written test or through Institute level Management quota. Diploma graduates can get direct admission into the second year of engineering if they have completed their diploma in electrical engineering.

The main objective of this four year engineering degree course is to impart skills which enable the graduates to take up jobs in the industry or start their own business.
Course Details
This four years course is follows a semester pattern. The first two semesters focus on basic subjects like applied physics, applied maths, applied chemistry, applied mechanics, engineering drawing. The next three year's curriculum comprises of subjects like electrical circuits, material science, electrical networks, electrical circuit design, power electronics, control systems, signal and systems, communications, electronics, power electronics, control engineering, digital signal processing etc. In the final year students carry out a project in a group where they apply all the theory learnt to practice.
