Eligibility and course duration

Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Math. Eligibility requirements vary. However, most admissions are through entrance exams like IMUCET and JEE Mains. A minimum of 60% marks in PCM and 50% marks in English is desired by most institutes. You are required to be medically fit for sea service, with no colour blindness, good vision and other requirements.

Duration of this undergraduate course is 4 years.
