A BE or BTech Aerospace or an equivalent graduate and or a GATE Qualified candidate can apply for this course.

Course overview:
M.Tech Aerospace Engineering course covers the advanced concepts aerodynamics, space technology, design, propulsion and structures. The course is designed to impart the skills required to contribute to the aerospace industry in terms of production or research.
Course Details:
This 2 years course comprises of coursework taught using theory, practical, tutorials, seminars in the first year followed by project and or industry internship in the second year. The course includes core and elective subjects like aerospace structure, aerospace vehicle design, engineer dynamics, engineering statics and propulsion, aircraft guidance and control etc.
Job opportunities:
A candidate can find good job opportunities in designing, construction, development, testing, operation and maintenance of commercial and military aircraft, spacecrafts, satellites and missiles. These engineers are employed in either government or private aerospace sector organizations. A few examples of job profiles are thermal or mechanical design engineer, assistant aircraft engineers, aircraft production manager to name a few.

After completion of this course the candidate can opt for research in the area of interest and complete PhD.
