B.E. is Bachelor of Engineering, an Engineering degree of graduation level and specialization in Humanities and Sciences deals with combined study about Science, society and technology. Candidates learn about history in global terms, different types of societies, their problems and techniques to overcome them. Some parts of literature, arts, writing skills, etc are also included in the course.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria allows 12th passed candidates for admission. The minimum passing marks ranges between 50%-60% from any recognized board. It is always better to check the eligibility before submitting filled application form.
Admission Procedure
There can be merit based admissions, direct admissions on first come first serve basis and some institutes may conduct entrance examinations. Interested candidates can get the admission forms after checking their eligibility and can submit the filled forms before due date. All the other required documents need t be enclosed with the form.
Duration
It is a 4 years courses which is divided into 8 semesters. These 8 semesters are having 6 months duration for each and have scheduled final examinations at their ends. Candidates need to pass each semester separately.
Further study options
Being a graduation level course, interested candidates ca pursue their post graduation degree in same or related specialization like Masters in Engineering with Humanities and Science specialization, Integrated M.Tech with PhD, etc.
