About B.Sc Chemistry (Hons.) course
It is an under graduate Chemistry course. During the course, students will learn about the various branches and theories of chemistry, including environmental chemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic and organic chemistry, etc. Not only will they learn only Chemistry subject, but with it, they will also be studying the normal Graduation course subjects such as Maths, Physics and Computer Application, etc.
- For pursuing B.Sc Chemistry (Hons.) course, a candidate should have passed 10+2 or Higher Secondary Education in Science stream with a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry subject or in whole as a percentage from a recognized board of the country.
- Some reputed institutes and colleges do conduct entrance examinations as a qualifying criteria to get admission to their B.Sc Chemistry (Hons.) course. In these colleges, the marks that are secured by the candidates in the final merit list and the entrance examination is a deciding factor for selection of the candidates.
The duration of B.Sc Chemistry (Hons.) course is about 3 years.
