Master of Philosophy is a research based course and the specialization in Computational Linguistics is for candidates from social science and humanities back ground. This enables them to enter in the field of Computational Linguistics. It is an interdisciplinary field which deals with language modeling considering computational prospective. This language modeling is always statistical and based on some defined rules.
Eligibility
To pursue this course a candidate should be post graduate in language, Linguistics or any other related specialization. Candidates from the field of Sanskrit, having aptitude in language analysis are ideal for this course.
Candidates from other post graduation degrees like M.Sc., M.Tech, etc are also eligible subject to their performance in entrance test.
The minimum qualifying marks may also vary from one institute to another.
