These rules and regulations are formulated by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India and are to be strictly adhered to by everyone working in the civil aviation industry. Other than that, you are also taught about the subjects like Theory of Flight, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Systems, Piston Engine and Jet Engine Propulsion, Aircraft Instruments, Electricals, Avionics, Material Science, Basic Workshop and Flight Safety. You get familiarized with different aircraft components like airframe, engines, landing gear, braking system and instrument console. You learn the procedures for maintaining aircrafts in safe and flight worthy condition by regular maintenance and servicing.
