Eligibility Criteria

1. You need to clear the board examination of 10th standard in order to be a part of this course.
2. This course is offered both in distance and regular universities. If you are enrolling in a distance education institute then generally there is no cutoff for the marks. But, if you are taking admission in a regular institute then you must have scored minimum 50% in the aggregate of the 10th standard examination.

Higher Studies

1. Post the completion of this course, you should complete higher secondary. To take admission, you must pass 10th standard board examination. The marks to be scored there, depends on the stream that you wish to join in 12th standard. If you wish to become a language translator later on, then you should pursue the arts stream. If you wish to join the IT firms in the middle east countries, then it is better to pursue science stream in class 11-12.
2. After completing higher secondary you can study B.A. in Comparative Literature. This is an in-depth subject on the literary works in English. If you wish to become a translator eventually, this is an ideal course.
3. If you wish to pursue science stream later on, then B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering would be an appropriate choice. There is a high demand of such engineers in the middle east countries.
