About M.Tech in Structural Engineering Course
Master of Technology in Structural Engineering is a 2 years post graduation course which impart advanced learning in fundamental principles of structural analysis and their implementation.
Duration
Duration of this course is 2 years which is divided into 4 equal semesters. Each semester lasts for 6 months.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum eligibility required to apply for admission to the M.Tech in Structural Engineering course is to qualify in B.E/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Energy and Environment Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Marine/ Industrial Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. Candidates who qualified M.Sc, in Environmental Science with minimum 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply for admission.
Admission Procedure

Generally most of the institutes offer admission to the M.Tech in Structural Engineering course, based on candidate's performance in state level or national level entrance examinations such as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE, Post Graduation Common Entrance Test PGCET etc. Some reputed institutes may conduct their own entrance examinations to offer admission to the candidates.
