This course is an English medium course and meant for people who have a knack towards the nutritional biology. Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics is a 3 year long course. Like any other honours courses here also you will hold specialization. The specialization will be in nutrition and diet. After you pass this course, you must complete M.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics to get better jobs.
One important job regarding this course is of a dietician in any private nursing home or hospital. The pay package is quite decent.

Syllabus
The syllabus of this course mainly consists of nutrition, bio chemistry, physiology, food microbiology, dietetics, diseases with respect to foods, food service management. You will have lots of practical papers in this course. The admissions in this course start after the results of 12th standards are out. The admissions end by the first week of August. This is what makes the course really interesting.
Graduation in Nutrition is not a direct medical science related course but it has huge impact. In fact, no nursing home can do without a nutritionist. You will see that recently lot of nursing homes are starting tests on obesity and they keep separate dietician or nutritionist to diagnose people who are obese according to the tests. They design a nutrition chart for them and monitor over their health regularly by updating that chart. The pay package is quite high for those nutritionists.
