Course description of Bachelor of Textile (BText)
Bachelor of Textile is a full time graduation course. The textile field is highly advanced and involves application of principles of chemistry in textile industry for example clothing and furniture. The textile chemists role, involves in producing new products to meet the demands of people and market standards. The course BText aims at providing knowledge on textile research and development, process modification, technical services and environment testing. The study covers aspects of dyeing, finishing, polymer chemistry and combining different materials.The students are exposed to all activities concerned with textile manufacturing and methods involved in the process of producing textiles.
