Eligibility Criteria

• The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing Bachelor of Tourism Studies course is a pass degree in Higher Secondary Examination or 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board, college or university.
• Some institutes conduct entrance examination to provide admission to this degree course.

The duration of Bachelor of Tourism Studies course is about 3 years which is divided into six semesters.

Academic Programs

• During the fourth semester, the students are required to undergo 30 days practical training in a tour and travel agency / airport.
• The course has also made mandatory for the students to take part in the national tour during the sixth semester which is a three week program.
• In today's time, this course has proved to be of great value and importance as tourism helps to promote economic development of the country.
