Eligibility Criteria

• The basic eligibility criteria required for taking admission in Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry is a pass certificate in Higher Secondary Examination or 10+2 with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum percentage of 50% marks from a recognized college or university.
• The Veterinary Council of India conducts an All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) which is an All India Common Entrance Examination held each year in the month of May for filling up of seats in each veterinary college.
• Some universities also conduct a separate entrance examination to get admission to their B.V.Sc. & A.H degree course. In these colleges, the selection to this degree course is purely based on the final merit, i.e. total marks aggregated in entrance exam and the final exam of 10+2.
