During the training you will be learning to look through tissues to examine bones, cavities and other foreign objects that could be stuck inside. You get to learn operating X-ray machines, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography machines and details about nuclear medicine. Other than the technicalities about radiation therapy, the course will familiarize you with the various medical terminologies including symbols and abbreviations. You learn skills in book keeping for proper documentation, say for those being given radiation treatment , it's important to keep a record of the dosages. You will be also learning about the human anatomy, physiology and the various systems namely, skeletal, muscular, nervous, digestive, excretory, reproductive, circulatory and so on. You will be learning concepts on safety and hazards of radiation.
