About L.L.M Constitutional course
It is a postgraduate constitutional law course. The course includes definition and nature of law under part III of the constitution of India, constitutional law of India, fundamental rights of freedom, the right of equality, etc.
The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing L.L.M Constitutional Law course is a pass degree in L.L.B or its equivalent from a recognized college or university with at least 55% marks in aggregate (50% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST / OBC).
The duration of L.L.M Constitutional course is about 2 years and it is job orienting in nature.
Some universities conduct an entrance examination of short listing candidates based on the marks allotted in the final degree of L.L.B and the entrance exam taken together. Shortlisted candidates are further called for counseling session and are then allotted to the respective colleges.
