However, a full time format helps as you get to do regular face-to-face interaction with the faculty and can use facilities such as laboratories and libraries available in the campus. The coursework and research is on areas that are our present environment concerns like global warming, pollution of air and water, soil erosion, desertification, deforestation, melting polar caps and declining ice cover in glaciers. Then there are topics on waste management, sewage treatment, etc.
