About B.Tech Dairy Technology
Dairy technology course primarily deals with topics such as animal husbandry, milk production, storage of milk, cattle rearing, modern technology used in dairy sector, transportation and packing of milk and dairy products, nutrition science, management, marketing, dairy unit operations, etc.
Eligibility Criteria
- The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing B.Tech Dairy Technology is a pass degree in Higher Secondary Examination or 10+2 degree from a recognized college or university.
- Generally 40 – 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is required for admission to this degree program.
- Marks of state level entrance examination is taken into consideration while allotting seats to candidates.
The minimum duration of B.Tech Dairy Technology is 4 years divided into eight semesters, with each semester lasting a duration of 6 months.
