Bachelor of Technology in Aerospace Engineering

Aiming for a high flying career in the field of aviation and space technology? Ardent about doing a course in aeronautics? Learn here about the course B.Tech Aerospace Engineering that will open up doors for you in the space and aviation sector. Learn about the colleges and prospects too.

Course Name: B.Tech Aerospace Engineering
Group: B.Tech.
Stream: Aviation
Course Category: Aeronautics
Duration: 4 years

Overview

The field of aviation has always been a fascinating one. The same is true about space too. Ever since the first successful flight was made by the Wright Brothers, man has always endeavoured to reach higher and higher heights. Such efforts have borne fruit and now we have been able to conquer even space. Aerospace engineering concerns with both aircrafts and spacecrafts. It is thus a combination of two branches of engineering, aeronautical and astronautical. Rockets and spacecrafts that fly in outer space come under the purview of astronautical engineering. Aerospace engineering is a growing field as the country is making rapid progress in sending spacecrafts to outer space and in building warheads like missiles.

Eligibility and course duration

Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Math. At least above 60% marks in aggregate. Admissions are mostly through entrance tests.

Duration of this undergraduate course is 4 years.
