Course Description of M.D.S Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics
The advanced studies in Dentistry is of three year duration. The program aims at preparing dentist to become specialists in Orthodontics with strong foundation in dental setting. It provides adequate hands on clinical experiences for dentists for treatments by applying different methods. The course work includes theoretical lectures, practical clinical work, research projects and course work, oral and written examination, thesis presentation. The masters degree course in dentistry enables students to become registered dental practitioners in specialized areas. Focus is laid on imparting contemporary health care and for safe practice in dental services to the community. Eligibility criteria
The students should have a BDS degree from a recognized university with two years of experience in dentistry. Candidates should be registered in Dental Council of India.
