Introduction
M.D.S is a post graduate degree in the field of Dentistry with its full name as Master of Dental Surgery. It has various specializations and one of them is Community Dentistry which deals with preventing oral diseases, promoting mental- physical efficiency and prolonging life through community efforts focused for control on communicable infections, proper sanitation of the surroundings, education of every individual for persona hygiene and awareness of medical ad nursing organizations for early diagnosis, preventive steps and treatment of diseases.

The duration for this course is 3 years which also includes the hands on experience of patient samples and case study along with the regular theory classes and practical sessions.
