Course Description of M.D Sharir Rachana
The Doctor of Medicine is of three year duration. The specialization in Sharir Rachana is an interesting area to pursue study in understanding the human body in detail. Sharir Rachana is the basic anatomy subject in Ayurveda medicine. the subject anatomy deals with the study of structural and functional aspects of human body. The program exposes students to study the anatomy of human body by body dissection on the cadaver. The scholars are taught the techniques of dead body preservation, radio-logical study of the entire body is explained to the students. The course is comprehensive and imparts knowledge of pathological anatomy and congenital abnormalities . The syllabus is framed as per the directions from the central council of Indian Medicine.

Study comprises the learning of mrita shodhan, human cadaver preservation, practical sessions includes study of bones, organs, surface and radiologist anatomy, dissection of whole by and observations of histologist slides.
