Course Description of M.D Sharir Kriya
The program M.D in Sharir Kriya is post graduation degree course of three year duration. The course sharir kriya deals with physiology of human being and modern physiology, it enables students to create knowledge awareness of the subject on international platform. Students get equipped with principles and procedures of application of kriya sharir in sports sector, treatment of diseases in human beings, career counselling in space physiology etc. The course enables the students to use sharir kriya in daily life and in treatment of diseases. Eligibility Criteria
The student must have completed B.A.M.S( Ayurvedic medicine) from a recognized university and have interest in pursuing the course with dedication and ethical values.

The program is practically a yoga discipline, which brings about immediate movements in the human body due to kindling of internal energy. Students are trained in theoretical knowledge and practical skills to become independent and competent professional in sharir kriya discipline. Sharir kriya is concerned with physiological aspects of human body. It deals with the study of human body and its functions in its normal state. The subject is vast and exposes students to understand the functions of living beings, their principles, mechanisms, their actions and responses towards their relative surroundings. Students are exposed to concepts of Dosha, Dhatu, mala, pachana. prakruti atma, mana. Training provides extensive theoretical knowledge of pathological and pharmacological changes in human beings for treating diseases. Students are prepared in clinical examinations of an individual and siddantas and enables them to become experts in human physiology related to all organ systems. `

The curriculum covers theories of loka-purusha samya, panchamabhuta, physiological aspects of samanya, concepts of tridosha, triguna, dhatu, ojas, description and process of ahara parinama, agni classification, functions, physiological imbalance concepts of prakriti, cell physiology, cell organization, membrane, respiratory physiology, homeostasis, genetic code, cardiovascular, nervous, gastro-intestinal physiology, blood, muscle, excretion and endocrine, male and femalephysiology.
