Introduction
M.Sc. is a post graduation degree, that is Master of Science. It has many specializations and Medical Physiology deals with the study about biomedical sciences, details of living system and its different processes. Physiology is considered as a branch of Biology and focuses on the proper functioning of complete living systems.
Candidates get a well structured training for latest instruments, techniques, experiments, etc related to the field of medical Physiology.
Eligibility
A candidate must be graduate to be eligible for this course. The specialization can be in life sciences, Physiology, Zoology, MBBS, Med. Physiology, BPT, B. Pharm or other equivalents related subjects.
Some institutes also accept the candidates from other Para- medical courses like Bachelor of Sidhha medical sciences, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences, Bachelor of Homeopathy Medical Sciences, etc.
The minimum qualifying marks may vary from one institute to another and need to be checked before submission of application form.

Admission can be direct, on merit basis or even through Entrance examination depending upon the institute you select. Interested candidates can check the same and can prepare accordingly. The common step for all the cases is submission of filled application form before last date.
Duration
The duration of this course is 2 years which are equivalent to 4 semesters. The complete syllabus of the course is also divided into 4 parts.
Further Study options
Interested candidates can pursue PhD after completion of this course. PhD is a research based course which provides a Doctorate degree after completion. Candidates need to conduct research on the topic of their interest under the guidance of their supervisor. There is no age limit for this course.
Course Highlights
The course starts with basics of physiology which includes theory classes as well as practical sessions. Candidates also learn about living organism body systems, their working, various organs and their workings, etc. They also learn about Biochemistry, cytology, Oncology, etc as an introductory part.
The techniques related to Physiology are also taught in the course through practical sessions.
The last part of the course is a project work which is also known as dissertation.
