Introduction

The course teaches everything related to mechanics, energy and related devices. It starts with basic topics like Turbo-mechanics, Fuels ad combustion, Theory and design of I.C. Engine, Gas Turbine, Jet propulsion, etc. A part about applied Mathematics is also included in the course.
The later part of course teaches about Modern power plant, Material technology, Waste Heat recovery, Thermal and industrial Environmental engineering, designing of heat transfer equipments, etc.
The course also has some lab sessions for fluid mechanics, heat transfer and energy conversion understanding.
