Students who are qualified in M.Sc Geology with minimum 55% marks will be eligible to apply this course. People who are qualified in CAT conducted by CSIR jointly with UGC will be given preference. Your application is to be forwarded through the Research Director who agreed to guide in your research work to the Head of The department and from there to College Principal. Students who qualified in the above entrance test will be provided fellowship as Junior research Fellow and also some amount towards contingency expenses. This course will also have some class work in which the candidate has to qualify before proceeding for the doctoral course. The university will also offer some fellowships for these students as University Research Fellowship.
