Introduction
Usually Diploma is considered as a short term course but in case of technical fields, it has longer durations like 2 or 3 years. Diploma in Computer Technology is designed to prepare professionals for working efficiently in the field of computers and other related firms. After successfully completing this course, candidates can go for Graduation and Post Graduation to have better job options. They can pursue B.Sc. in Computer Science, Bachelor in Computer Application, then M.Sc. in computer Science or MCA.
Candidates having interest in research can go for PhD after master's degree.
Course Highlights
The course teaches all about computers including software and hardware. It teaches about language skills to have improved communication, fundamental of computer problem solving skills, Discrete Mathematics, Fundamentals of Algorithm development, etc. An introductory part of financial accounting and reporting is also included in the course.
The later part of course teaches about structured programming, object oriented programming, interactive multimedia, calculus, web application development, information system development and approach of operating systems.
