Introduction
Diploma is a direct course available after 10th and 12th standards. It has many variants depending upon the subject and Diploma in Urdu covers everything related to Urdu language. It teaches about Urdu literature which includes Urdu poetry, prose, theatre, novels, drama, grammar, etc. The course also includes study about Urdu Society and their civilizations.
The course is available in full time regular mode as well as part time mode. Being theoretical, even some private institutes also offer it through correspondence also. In all the cases, duration will be varied.
Eligibility
Candidates who have completed their 12th examinations are eligible for this course. There is no restriction about specialization or subject studies in 12th.

After completion of this course, candidates are advised to pursue higher studies to have better job opportunities. They can go for M.A. (Master of Arts) in Urdu, and then M.Phil (Master pf Philosophy) in Urdu and then the last one is PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in Urdu. After pursuing these courses, candidate will have excellent job options.
