The job of a crane operator is a highly specialized one. For someone to be employed as a crane operator, it requires training as well as certification. Since it involves the safety of men and material, someone without a certification in this field is never permitted to operate a crane. Eligibility and course duration
No formal qualification may be essential for enrolling for this course. It however requires you to be medically fit and at least 18 years in age. It helps, if you are at least 10th pass. You can then understand the technicalities better. Duration of training for a specific crane is 3 months.
