Eligibility and course duration

Here in this course you will be learning about managing the merchandising of garments and apparels. The program endeavours to build skills in marketing, retailing and exporting garments. You learn about buying of materials, retail operations, advertising and marketing the products to international locations. You get to learn about forecasting demand; trade practices followed in the countries intended for export and the prevalent fashion trends. Among other things, you will be learning about the materials and fabrics used for manufacturing the garments, the patterns and designs and the manufacturing processes. Principles related to fashion marketing, merchandising and marketing are taught during the course of the study. Then there are topics on brand managing, marketing strategies, consumer expectations and operation research that build upon your managerial capabilities.
