Admissions for PhD can be done through different methods-

1. Through National level entrance test- Candidates can appear in national level entrance test which are conducted twice every year. If a candidate performs well and get enrolled through this test, they are eligible to get stipend.


2. Through State Level entrance test- Some states also have PhD Entrance test and candidates get opportunity to enroll themselves according to their performance in the same.


3. Through self sponsored- In this case, candidates approach the supervisor and enroll for PhD after getting approval from supervisor.

Duration

The duration for this course is 3 years. In some circumstances, this duration can be extended subject to approval after valid reasons.

Further Study options

After PhD, candidates can continue their work as Post doctorate degree.
