It is a Master of Philosophy course leading to your doctoral studies. The person who have completed Master degree in one of the following subjects: Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Psycho social Rehabilitation, Yoga Psychology, Psychiatric Medicine or any other Master's degree course equivalent to the above is eligible to join. The candidate should have secured a minimum of 55% in the Master degree. Duration of the course is about 3 years and most of the cases this is a residential course. These two subjects namely Counselling and Yoga Therapy are complimentary to one another in the health care system. Once You complete the course you can go for your doctorate course in any one of the above subjects you are interested. You can also join as a instructor and lecturer in any college teaching yoga and counselling in graduate level or post graduate level.
