A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other similar qualification with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Selections for the post graduate program are based on your performance in GATE or other similar entrance tests conducted by the respective institute.

Duration of the course is 2 years.

You get a firsthand understanding about how the IC engine works and the principle of its operation.
