Introduction
M.E. is a Postgraduate degree in technical field with its full name as Master of Engineering. It has different specializations and Power control and Instrumentation is one among them which is related to the instrumentation engineering domain. Instrumentation is the basic requirement of any industry and appropriate process control and guidance techniques are very much essential for their proper working. This course trains candidates to fulfill these industrial requirements and teaches about planning, designing, installation, operation and control of instruments and complex systems.

Eligibility
Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in B.E. or B.Tech from a recognized technical institute and have secured at least 60% marks as an aggregate are eligible for this course. Course Highlights
Advanced applied Mathematics, transducer designing, liner and non-linear system theory, communication protocols for instrumentations, etc are some initial topics for the course. Then candidates learn about optimal control theory, modern control theory, analog, and digital instrumentation, digital control theory, etc.
Practical sessions are assigned to understand the process control system components and Microcontroller based system designing in a better way.
The 2nd year of the course includes some elective subjects and a short-term project which is to be completed before the course ends.
