Introduction
M.Tech or Master of Technology is a Post Graduation level course in the field of Technology and is available in many subjects related to engineering and technology. M.E. in Energy system engineering includes study about analysis and optimizations of energy systems, different energetic components, boilers, power plants, refrigerators, heat pumps, accumulators, heat exchangers, etc. The course combines three different domains- technology, science and business to generate highly skilled professional suitable for working in different areas of any organization.

The course starts with general energy-related topics like Energy Scenario and energy forms, thermal utilities, fuels and combustion, thermodynamics, heat transfer systems, generation, transmission and distribution of energy, etc. Then candidates learn about thermal power generation, waste heat recovery and cogeneration, hydropower generation, energy management, green building and other related things through this course.
It also includes some seminars and a short-term project.
