Anthropology is the study of human culture, society and their evolution. In other words, it is the complete science of mankind. The students learn about the evolution of mankind through the disciplines of biology, culture and society and hence the course syllabus is based on subjects like Biology, Geology, etc. M.Sc Anthropology graduates can obtain jobs in academic and research institutes, museums, cultural agencies, etc.
The basic eligibility criteria for pursuing M.Sc Anthropology course is a Graduation pass out in B.Sc / B.A in Anthropology / Zoology / Sociology / History from a recognized college or university.
The duration of M.Sc Anthropology course is about 2 years, which are divided into four semesters.
After this Master's course, students can opt for M.Phil and Ph.D in Anthropology.
