Introduction
M.Com or Master of Commerce is a Post Graduate course n the field of Commerce and economics. M.Com in Finance and Taxation is all about principles of finance, accountancy, financial planning, economic theory, and taxation. It also includes financial charge, tax, taxable income and other related topics. The specialized topics of Sales Tax, GST, VAT, Income tax, property tax, service tax, Tax related laws, regulations, etc are also included in the course.

Eligibility
The main eligibility criteria demands a graduate candidate holding B.Com degree from a reputed institute. Some institutes also accept candidates holding a degree in honors with accountancy, Business/ Management studies with prior knowledge about commerce, Economics, etc.
The minimum qualifying marks should be higher than 50% to become eligible for most of the commerce colleges.
