Eligibility Criteria

  1. The students must have completed a B.Ed handicapped degree prior to this course. Although it is not mandatory, but if a student opts for an undergraduate course in psychology and then studies B.Ed and M.Ed, then they will be able to understand the student's psychology much better.
  2. There is no restriction regarding the marks to be obtained in the B.Ed course. Nonetheless, the students are required to score a minimum of 60% in their graduation to be a part of this course.
  3. Finally, to further shortlist the students every university which offers the M.Ed degree, conducts an entrance examination. The entrance examination will be based on the topics that you have learned in your B.Ed course.


Job Prospects

  1. You can become a senior secondary school teacher. A lot of students develop speech impairment or hearing impediment during the latter section of their schooling. Such students need separate care which you will have to provide.
  2. You can join an NGO as a special education teacher. Such organizations take care of students who are orphaned or physically challenged or both. You can provide your teaching skills to such special students.
