It is a short term course, from 3 months to six months, varies from institute to institute. The learner of this course is given theoretical as well as practical training in bar-tending. It includes knowledge of different wines, liquors, spirits, mixology, bar tricks and stylish bar flair. The students are taught to prepare multiple drink order in minimum time, without any mistake. They are given knowledge to arrange and set-up the bar in presentable manner. They are taught to utilize different tools of bar-tending. They are also given training in customer service, where the students learn how to provide efficient and well-mannered service to the customers.

Depending on the course and the duration, the course fee may vary between Rs. 9000 to Rs. 30000

Monthly income of a bartender

The the early days of the career, the candidate can get the starting salary of Rs. 8000 per month(including service charges and tips). If the candidates move abroad after gaining few years of experience, they can expect to earn Rs. 1,00,000 per month.
